Single Sign-On (SSO)
The Single Sign-On (SSO) feature allows organizations to link their Connect Cloud account to identity providers, such as OKTA, so that they may manager user access to Connect Cloud. This creates a quicker and easier log-in experience for users at a low cost. SSO is now available with the following providers:
- SAML
- OpenID Connect
- Google Workspace
- Microsoft Azure AD
- Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS)
- Active Directory/LDAP
- Ping Federate

User-Defined Credentials
Query Users (Connect Cloud users with permissions to query connections, but not manage them) can inject their own credentials into connections. Administrators can configure Connections to used Shared Credentials or User Credentials. The User Credentials option requires users to supply their unique log-in information.
How to Implement User-Defined Credentials
Follow these steps for User-Defined Credentials:
- Log-in to Connect Cloud and select Connections from the left sidebar.
- Next, select an existing Connection or create a new one.
- Now, if you are not already connected to your data source, click "Sign-In" or "Save & Test". Otherwise, skip to the next step.
- Click the "Shared" button next to "Data Credentials" at the bottom of the connection page.
- On the following screen, select User Credentials and click Confirm. Then, click Confirm on the following pop-up.
- Click Save & Test in the top-right corner.
At this point, Query Users will need to enter their own credentials to connect to data, ensuring that each user access the same data through Connect Cloud that they would logging directly into the data source.
