MySQL のFederated Table としてAmazon S3 データを連携利用する

SQL Gateway を使って、MySQL リモーティングサービスを作成し、Amazon S3 のMySQL Federated Table を構築できます。CData ODBC Driver for AmazonS3 のMySQL インターフェースのdeamon になります。サービス起動後、MySQL のFEDERATED ストレージエンジンを使ってサーバーおよびテーブルを作成します。Amazon S3 データ をMySQL テーブルのように使いましょう。

Amazon S3 データへの接続

If you have not already done so, provide values for the required connection properties in the data source name (DSN). You can use the built-in Microsoft ODBC Data Source Administrator to configure the DSN. This is also the last step of the driver installation. See the "Getting Started" chapter in the help documentation for a guide to using the Microsoft ODBC Data Source Administrator to create and configure a DSN.

Amazon S3 リクエストを認可するには、管理者アカウントまたはカスタム権限を持つIAM ユーザーの認証情報を入力します。AccessKey をアクセスキーID に設定します。SecretKey をシークレットアクセスキーに設定します。

Note: AWS アカウント管理者として接続できますが、AWS サービスにアクセスするにはIAM ユーザー認証情報を使用することをお勧めします。

尚、CData 製品はAmazon S3 のファイルの一覧表示やユーザー管理情報の取得用です。S3 に保管されているExcel、CSV、JSON などのファイル内のデータを読み込みたい場合には、Excel Driver、CSV Driver、JSON Driver をご利用ください。

アクセスキーの取得

IAM ユーザーの資格情報を取得するには：

1. IAM コンソールにサインインします。
2. ナビゲーションペインで「ユーザー」を選択します。
3. ユーザーのアクセスキーを作成または管理するには、ユーザーを選択してから「セキュリティ認証情報」タブを選択します。

AWS ルートアカウントの資格情報を取得するには：

1. ルートアカウントの資格情報を使用してAWS 管理コンソールにサインインします。
2. アカウント名または番号を選択し、表示されたメニューで「My Security Credentials」を選択します。
3. 「Continue to Security Credentials」をクリックし、「Access Keys」セクションを展開して、ルートアカウントのアクセスキーを管理または作成します。

AWS ロールとして認証

多くの場合、認証にはAWS ルートユーザーのダイレクトなセキュリティ認証情報ではなく、IAM ロールを使用することをお勧めします。RoleARN を指定することでAWS ロールを代わりに使用できます。これにより、CData 製品は指定されたロールの資格情報を取得しようと試みます。

（すでにEC2 インスタンスなどで接続されているのではなく）AWS に接続している場合は、ロールを引き受けるIAM ユーザーのAccessKey とSecretKey を追加で指定する必要があります。AWS ルートユーザーのAccessKey および SecretKey を指定する場合、ロールは使用できません。

SSO 認証

SSO 認証を必要とするユーザーおよびロールには、RoleARN およびPrincipalArn 接続プロパティを指定してください。各Identity Provider に固有のSSOProperties を指定し、AccessKey とSecretKey を空のままにする必要があります。これにより、CData 製品は一時的な認証資格情報を取得するために、リクエストでSSO 認証情報を送信します。

SQL Gateway の設定

See the SQL Gateway Overview to set up connectivity to Amazon S3 データ as a virtual MySQL database. You will configure a MySQL remoting service that listens for MySQL requests from clients. The service can be configured in the SQL Gateway UI.

Amazon S3 データ のFEDERATED サーバーおよびテーブルを作成

After you have configured and started the service, create a FEDERATED server to simplify the process of creating FEDERATED tables:

The following statement will create a FEDERATED server based on the ODBC Driver for AmazonS3. Note that the username and password of the FEDERATED server must match a user account you defined on the Users tab of the SQL Gateway.

FEDERATED テーブルの作成

To create a FEDERATED table using our newly created server, use the CONNECTION keyword and pass the name of the FEDERATED server and the remote table (ObjectsACL). Refer to the following template for the statement to create a FEDERATED table:

NOTE: The table schema for the FEDERATED table must match the remote table schema exactly. You can always connect directly to the MySQL remoting service using any MySQL client and run a SHOW CREATE TABLE query to get the table schema.

クエリの実行

You can now execute queries to the Amazon S3 FEDERATED tables from any tool that can connect to MySQL, which is particularly useful if you need to JOIN data from a local table with data from Amazon S3. Refer to the following example:
