Sales Content Lead

The Sales Content Lead at CData will play a pivotal role on our sales enablement team, crafting and curating engaging content to empower our sales team and drive success. The Lead will partner with multiple cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and sales to ensure content reflects the latest product updates, market trends, and sales priorities. This role requires a unique blend of skills in instructional design, sales enablement, and content management, ideally honed within a B2B technology environment. The successful candidate will possess a strategic mindset and collaborate closely with leadership to build and implement a comprehensive content management strategy.

Location(s): North Carolina Research Triangle or East Coast (preferred)

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop, maintain, and revamp sales content, tailored for a sales & technical audience, maintaining a catalog of resources to enhance sales effectiveness across the organization.
  • Collaborate with the sales and product marketing teams to ensure that content aligns with business objectives and enhances sales productivity.
  • Implement an overarching content strategy, including process development, platform integration, and content lifecycle management.
  • Support initiatives for learning assessments and program management to measure the effectiveness of content and training programs.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in instructional design, sales enablement, or product marketing, preferably within a B2B technology company.
  • Demonstrated expertise in using content management technologies and eLearning development tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, and Articulate.
  • Strong understanding of content development strategies, including familiarity with the ADDIE model.
  • Experience in managing content for technical product training and sales education.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with agility and the capacity to adjust to changing priorities.
